“If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.” – Anthony Robbins

Detailed Description:

Have you always been fascinated with the idea of heading off into the wilderness in pursuit of a game animal and procuring your own meat? Perhaps you are already on your journey to becoming a hunter and would like to venture into new terrain and be more successful.

This course will provide you with the legal requirements (CORE*, CFSC*) to obtain a British Columbia Hunting License and apply for a Canadian Firearms License (PAL*). In addition, we offer practical exercises in the field and shooting practice that are well beyond the scope of what is taught in a classroom setting. You will gain experience in a supportive atmosphere that will allow you to hunt in a safe and ethical manner.

If you are already a qualified hunter and would like to take your skills to a higher level, we draw on year’s of experience hunting, guiding an exploring remote corners of the world. We will cover the myriad skills that make up an accomplished hunter, from tracking and stalking to navigation and bushcraft. An extensive section on back country safety and survival will enable you to make sound decisions and face unforeseen circumstances with confidence.

In addition, hunters with valid PAL* or CORE* Certifications. can take the Practical Hunting Skills and Certification (CORE + PAL) course at a reduced price:

  • Hunter With Valid CORE*: $825
  • Hunter With Valid PAL*: $800
  • Hunter With Valid PAL* and CORE*: $700

Please pay the regular booking deposit and inform the Head Office of your PAL* and/or CORE* Certifications so we can adjust the payment on the Final Invoice appropriately. We will also provide special programming for certified hunters during the CFSC* and CORE* exams.

*Be advised that the group will be rising early (before dawn) on several occasions for optimal wildlife viewing at some of our field locations.
